Forget every other place you heard of or wanted to try in NY and come here instead!!! Seriously!! The burger is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE delicious and melts in your mouth with a favor that is out of this world. One of the best burgers I have ever eaten in the US and maybe worldwide. An absolute MUST TRY....the steak is also incredible as is the staff and ambiance.

Looking for something different with great food and great vibe? You found it! Fantastic drinks to start. We all had something different and each was amazing. Can't go wrong with any of them! For appetizers, strongly recommend the salmon crispy rice. Wow. What an incredible dish. The texture and spice is perfectly paired. The Caesar salad (although a classic, but was delicious) and halibut was also an amazing combo!

Oh my goodness, let me tell you about my absolutely divine experience at Mister French! From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was swept away by the incredible ambiance and the warm and celebratory energy of the staff. It felt as though we were the only party in the entire restaurant, despite the bustling crowd that surrounded us all evening. Speaking of the staff, I must say that they were simply exceptional! Our server, Abash (or something close to that - the noise level in the restaurant made it a bit difficult to catch his name), was an absolute delight. He was attentive, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable evening. What really sets Mister French apart from other restaurants, though, is the overwhelming sense of joy and hospitality that emanates from the entire staff. They truly made us feel welcomed and appreciated, and even brought out a complimentary glass of champagne for us to toast the birthday girl! Now, let me tell you about the decor - it was absolutely breathtaking. The interior of the restaurant was so stunningly beautiful that we couldn't help but stay later to take pictures in front of the flower backdrop and around the piano. It was the perfect setting for a romantic date or a special occasion with friends. If I had to nitpick, I would say that the noise level in the restaurant was a bit high at times, which made it a bit difficult to hear each other and our servers. However, the overall experience was so exceptional that it was a minor inconvenience at best. In short, I cannot recommend Mister French enough! I would tell all of my friends and colleagues that this is the perfect spot for a special occasion or a date night (although perhaps not for a first date!). The staff and ambiance are simply unmatched, and the decor is truly breathtaking. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation today - you won't regret it!

Mister French is a 10/10! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Ross, and he was absolutely adorable and sooooo friendly! Then after a few short minutes, the GM, Justin, brought us champagne, and we felt instantly so special! The food was fantastic! We had the duck spring rolls, crispy rice, caesar salad, duck of the day and pasta la mer (the pasta was phenomenal and pesto like). After dinner, our server, Ashif, brought us dessert on the house. He was so sweet and inviting! The music was great, the people were so nice, and the restaurant had this secret kind of hidden restaurant feeling--honestly, such a great vibe. We will be back!

Very nice ambiance, nice staff. I personally liked the food: the back pasta with sea food was awesome, spicy though. My wife got the duck, she did not like it, I tasted it and I thought it was amazing. The only problem it is super expensive

Mister French, I loved him on Family Affair! (Bill T) It's my wife's birthday weekend and I planned out a nice fun day with her. We started waiting outside for a table at Clinton St Baking company and then seeing A Beautiful Noise on Broadway. For dinner, I don't want to the evening to end in midtown! I want a sultry, sexy vibe. I need Mister French to make the night special. Even walking in, its sexy. Once they pull the curtain back and you enter a seductive, dimly lit space playing euro music. I felt like I was getting a hospitality high five. Once seated, I order a rose wine for my wife. she's asked, would you like that sparking as well? My wife is on cloud nine, sparking please. No cocktail for me, I ordered a red cab from Napa. (In my mind I'm fist bumping Mister French) For starters, I zeroed in on the Escargot. It was deep fried tempura and then put back into the dimpled plate topped with gruyere cheese. How french. I ask the waiter about the Filet Mignon Crispy Rice topped with caviar. He's telling me its enough for three so I should order two dishes? I didn't understand what he was saying but holy hell, order three dishes!! My best description would be Sushi Rice that's shaped and deep fried. Now the rice has a crunchy exterior and the interior is all warm and hugs your soul. Hot damn. I'm jumping up and down for my entree, the Duck Cassouet. Listen to me, get this dish if you love duck. Mister French, this dish was an absolute joy. I was telling the waiter I had duck a few months ago at Gramercy Tavern. This dish sets the standard. Dig if you will this picture, the duck breast is sliced into two large strips. Then, they lay on the Cherry Duck Jus. Just an explosion of flavor. It's Duck Season and call me Elmer Fudd. This dish is not to be missed. The navy bean puree was about the size of a half dollar. The duck sat on a bed of sauteed kale & chorizo, amazing. My wife ordered the MF Chicken. Now in my world, MF means something. I know it means Mister French, I was calling it Mondo Freak.. Regardless its just chicken. I've been to Le Coq Rico (Rest in peace), I mean, the chicken was good? The waiter is telling us they want to import chicken from France. MF, you do you! We ended our evening with Chocolate Truffles. Our waiter was so attentive, he put a candle in the dish. Mister French, I thank you for making my wife's birthday special. Bonne soirée

Overall experience was nice. The ambiance was beautiful. The menu had a number of option but I am a picky eater so I went with the ravioli to be on the safe side. My sister had the salmon. Must say the salmon wast good tasty was nervous when I saw the sauce was green but the flavor was good.

I finally visited the new location. This restuarant is definitely an upgrade from the original location. I love love the decor. The staff knew I was pregnant so they made me a mocktail which was sweet and refreshing and should be placed on the menu since there were no non-alcoholic drinks listed. The complementary baguette was specially wrapped to maintain the freshness. I ordered their blue crab fries and pork belly crispy rice appetizers which ideally were meant for sharing but since I was dining alone I made it my dinner. For dessert I had the butterscotch brulee which was to die for. Maria and her team were awesome. I can't wait to return to try their main entree dishes.

Mister French is swanky, sexy & luxe and now with Chef David Burke at the helm it's diabolically delicious. It's mew spot is a posh one with velvet chairs and an elegant room with chandeliers.. Prepare to be wowed from with luxe interior private club vibe while dining in posh banquettes. Cocktails on fleek and the halibut is heavenly. Ate: Fresh baked bread Petit tournee Steak frites Halibut Butterscotch crepe brûlée Hazelnut crunch cake Brussels sprouts Brooklyn IPA The halibut with lobster medallions in a lobster bisque over spinach was perfection . Steak with Chile butter and truffle fries was diabolically delicious. My favorite dessert was the butterscotch brûlée with mini cookies. Splash out! Cannot get over the bathroom which were over the top with swan faucets. Snazzy to the max. Think French Bagatelle!
